An evenly fought game throughout on a bobbly surface saw Tipton for the first time this season struggle to get ball and play. Too many long balls and 50/50 made it hard work, although we did create one two really good chances but we couldn’t find the net.
Dudley Sports opened the scoring in the 30th min when a few errors in our box from a corner saw the ball fall to former Tipton player Sean Rowley who finished well.
Second half saw us more on the front foot and with the only combination play all afternoon started by Danny Wood Which resulted in Nathan Turner sending Conner Garrett past the last defender and from a tight angle he finished really well.
In truth neither team deserved to win but we could have snatched it in the last min when Ryan Dehaney hit the bar with a header.
So a well competed game ended all square.
