Tipton Town Under U14’s

Management Team

Manager Luke Davis is a Ex Tipton Town juniors player with roots in both football and hockey. Luke has coached for the Albion Foundation as well as in America for Challenger Sports. Luke is a full-time PE teacher at Q3 Academy Langley in Oldbury and coaching the U13s is his passion on the side. He also play’s hockey on a Saturday and coaches the lads on a Sunday morning and is now into his 7th season. Luke is a level 2 coach and have aspirations of applying for his UEFA B license. During his time as manager they have won a number of trophies including the end of season Walsall Cup twice and two summer tournaments. There are still 5 of the original 7 players who started at u7s still playing and signed for the team. Across the 7 years, two players Will and Isaac have left to join Walsall Academy and Ellis (who is back with us due to injury) has been signed by West Bromwich Albion.

Assistant Manager Matt Marson – Matt is a parent of one of the lads that plays for us and has been assistant since halfway through our U7 season. He is an ex academy football player with roots in coaching also. He is currently an SLT member of Streetly Academy where he is in charge of the grounds and lettings at the School. He is also a Level 2 coach and a season ticket holder at the Hawthorns. He has an incredible knowledge of the game as well as invaluable experience and loves coaching our lads with Luke. The team made it to the Semi-final of the Bilston Cup and knocked Div 1 champions Avery out of the cup as well as picking up 4 points against them in the league, whilst also enjoying a league double over our rivals Tipton Youth and scoring 14 goals in the process.
