Finding Us

If you’re here on our website, it stands a very strong chance you’re trying to find out where you are, possibly because you’re considering a visit.

If so, look no further.

Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell, situated between Birmingham and Wolverhampton in what is popularly known as The Black Country and is famous for its canals, its potent industrial heritage as one of the birthplaces of the Industrial Revolution and for being the birthplace of legendary bareknuckle boxer William ‘The Tipton Slasher’ Perry.

Tipton Town FC play their home games at Tipton Sports Academy which, by the standards of some non-league grounds, is a relatively straightforward ground to find.

The address for SatNavers below:

Tipton Sports Academy

Wednesbury Oak Road

Tipton

DY4 0BS.

Those with SatNavs that eat postcodes will be delighted to hear that the above postcode will get you onto our car park with no issues whatsoever.

Talking of car parking, the Tipton Sports Academy shares ample parking space with the Leisure Centre so you should have no problem with parking for free. If you do have difficulties finding a space it either means a lot of people are using the Leisure Centre or Tipton Town are doing very well!

The other important point to consider (if you’re anything like me) concerns refreshments. Within the ground itself, the usual teas, coffees and soft drinks are available. But what you probably want to hear about is the Tipton Sports Social Club which is part of the Leisure Centre complex, is about 30 seconds walk from the main stand and which serves hot food, brilliant beverages and sensational snacks. And it stands a very strong chance you’ll see one or more of the Tipton Town committee standing close to the bar.
