First half Tipton took control of the ball with Darlo set up to keep us out.
In truth Tipton lacked energy and any creativity in the final 3rd with only one shot on goal from Tom Cottam all they had to show for the half, far too many times the final ball was missing.
So Darlo with no shots on goal and Tipton with one it was a pretty drab first half.
Half Time 0-0
Tipton should have come out with more determination but it was more of the same with Darlo defending really well.
Tipton we’re caught out after giving away a free kick deep in Darlo half two passes later and it was in on our net.
Changes were made with Nathan Turner, Jake Fairhurst Dan Smith, Ryan Dehaney and Conner Appleyard all coming on to the pitch and straight away Tipton had more energy and intensity.
Jake Fairhurst should have immediately put us level when clean through but his shot was high and wide.
With mins ticking away Tom Cottam picked the ball up beat three players and fired the ball into the corner of the net great goal.
So a point saved when in truth it didn’t look like it would come so credit to the lads for keeping on going.
Credit to Darlo who defended magnificently all game.
