After three defeats going into the game and a long injury list Tipton came away from Bilston with all the points .
Tipton started well with pace of Ryan Piggott causing Darlo defence problems, Tipton took the lead early on when Piggott shot in the box rebounded to Jake Fairhurst who fired home.
Tipton’s midfield we’re working hard with Connor Appleyard and Sam Armstrong winning the battle in the middle and it was a great run and finish from Sam Armstrong that increased the lead with a neat finish.
So we went into the break 0-2 .
As expected FC Darlo came out second half and took the game to Tipton but Tipton’s defence stayed strong with Jamie Holder and Greg Phillips stifling out any threat and when called on Ben James was up to the task .
Tipton’s pace always causing trouble for FC Darlo defenders and when Connor Garrett chased the ball down then put Jake Fairhurst in on goal the midfielder smashed the ball home from the edge of the box .
Tipton finished the scoring when 16 year old Tom Cottam fired home for his first goal in senior football this after excellent pass from Sean Rowley .
Credit to FC Darlo who are always a hard opponent they battled to the end but this was Tipton’s night something of a relief after the last three games .
