Tipton only have themselves to blame in this evenly contested game. Wrens Nest dominated the ball first half, with us creating the better of the chances, but without making the keeper make a save.
Wrens Nest had a few half chances but we’re well dealt with, so even at the break.
Second half started much the same, Wrens Nest having the ball and us breaking fowards, Sean Geddes came in for injured Sam A and we began to get hold of the ball. 2/3 more chances were created and missed before Wrens Nest took the lead, without seeing the VEO can’t really comment but it looked a very soft goal to give away.
Wrens Nest then defended the goal well, but in last 5 mins chances came and went again .
So on the whole a difficult evening watch for us but if you don’t score you don’t win it’s as simple as that.
A big improvement needed over the next few weeks.
