Tipton started the game really well and could been in front early but Ryan Piggott was just offside before putting the ball in the net.
Chances came and went but we still controlled large parts of the game.
A great move down the left resulted in Ryan Piggott being tripped in the area in the 30th min resulting in a penalty.
Unfortunately Tom Cottam’s shot was saved well so we went into the break 0-0 but on top.
Second half was much of the same but we couldn’t find a goal then Out of no where Ryan Piggott flicked the ball onto Tom Cottam who raced on and chipped the keeper to make amends for his earlier penalty miss.
Changes were made Conner Scott, Sean Geddes, Sam Armstrong and Gregg Phillips all coming on to the pitch and this gave us a kick on and It reaped immediate rewards when the flying Nathan Turner crossed for Ryan Piggott to score his first goal of this season. It was Nathan Turner who would have the last action, smashing home a left foot shot from the edge of the box after Sean Geddes pass had played him in.
The whole team were good today, the defence was solid and well lead by Mark Bennett. The midfield worked hard and strikers scored so we move onto Dudley Sports away next Saturday.
