A nice way to finish a long season for the lads, the sun was out and the performance made it a comfortable win securing the 5th spot in the league table.
Tom Cottam was given a full debut and he started the game with a early goal after being played in by Danny Wood. Sam Armstrong then got on the scoresheet with a neat turn and shot.
In truth Bentley never threatened at all and it was soon three, with Jamie Holder pouncing on a loose ball to fire home.
Tipton were playing some nice football, but with no real pressure from the opposition and Tom Cottam hit his second to make it 4-0 at the break.
Second half was a bit scrappy with Bentley slowing the game down at every opportunity, but Jake Fairhurst fired in another two quick goals before young Tom Cottam fired home his hat trick goal, his first in senior football.
So overall you couldn’t wish for a better end of the season game.
Onto the Cup final on May 21st, where the opposition will be a much sterner test.
