Kicking against the wind first half the lads controlled large parts of the half and should have been in front very early on when Ryan PIGGOTT went one on one with the keeper but most un like him the striker failed to score , in truth no one could really find the final pass in the last 3rd to finish off some good link up play .
The defence of Conner Scott Gregg Phillips Mark Bennett and Danny Wood largely in control of the half but with Wyrley pace in the wide arrears they did trouble us at times .
Second half different story we started to pass the ball better and created a number of chances , it did take a small bit of luck to find the break through though Sam Armstrong strike beating everyone and finding the bottom corner .
We were two up inside two minutes Ryan Piggott headed home after good work from Myles ‘Mylo’ Nettleford .
Mark Bennett then made it 3 in 5 minutes poking home after Wyrley defence failed to clear a Ryan PIGGOTT cross .
Ryan PIGGOTT then took the game out of sight and his 12th goal in eleven games rounded the keeper to score .
Wyrley didn’t give up though and got a consolation goal late on but in truth the lads could have scored more .
So great 3 points on the road for us and big mention for youth team capt Conner Appleyard who came on to make his senior debut .
