Poor performance today on a very bumpy sloping pitch, Tipton never got going and in truth looked tired after their midweek game.
They were behind after two mins when Ramani Stephens failed to clear the ball his back pass found their striker who scored.
Ramini made amends getting a equaliser but again Tipton found themselves behind when a free kick rolled to Ben James who took his eye off it and it rolled in.
It got worse from there, we then lost Danny Wood and Sam Armstrong with injures .
So at the break 2-1
Kicking down the slope second half didn’t get any better we simply couldn’t get hold the ball to play and Willenhall were fighting for every ball.
More sloppy defending saw us go 3-1 behind before Adam Callinswood was fetched over in the box, Scott Broadway converting the penalty kick, we then lost Ramani to a hamstring injury and in truth a Tipton fight back never came. Willenhall went on to score 4 and deservedly so.
You get what you deserve in football and today we simply didn’t work hard enough.
