Our first League game since before Christmas saw us start really slowly and Old Wulfs really well , in fairness Old Wulfs we’re by far the better team first half and in total control although we did have a penalty shout turned away and hit bar twice but in truth we never got going .
Old Wulfs scored on 10 mins with a good strike from the edge of the box then on twenty mins they scored again so we went into half time 2-0 down , we also lost Sam Armstrong with a knee injury mid way through the half , his replacement Harry Clifton .
Second half saw different Tipton Team 2 more subs were introduced Jake Fairhurst and Nathan Turner and immediately Tipton went on the front foot pushing Old Wulfs back , Ryan Piggott goal gave us hope and he looked like he would equal the score when he went past two defenders but the striker was off target with his shot .
Try as we did we couldn’t find an equaliser the game was lost due to a very poor first half a lesson we need to learn from .
Big shout out to young Harry Clifton who was outstanding driving Tipton Forward from the middle of the park .
Our first defeat since September 24 th all credit to the squad for a great run but we now need to pick ourselves up and go again .
