Wrens Nest 0 Tipton Town FC 6
Tipton simply blew Wrens Nest away in a 15 min spell from the kick off , Kieran Smith tapping in from close range in the 1st min that was quickly followed by two Sam Armstrong penalties .
Ramani Stephens being fetched down for for the first one and then Sam Hesson being fetched down for the second in exactly the same way .
Tiptons work rate was impressive today winning every tackle and header on a heavy pitch .
Jake Fairhurst was next on the score sheet tapping home hard working Conner Garrett’s shot after the keeper had spilled it .
Jamie Holder finished the first half scoring heading home a Ramani Stephens corner .
Half time was all about a clean sheet the defence today were to a man outstanding and could we go and get a clean sheet the answer yes .
Second half obviously saw Wrens Nest have a go but they were stopped at every opportunity.
The final goal came from Danny Bell who finished well after being put through by Sam Armstrong .
So pleasing day for Tipton big mention to Conner Scott Danny Wood Greg Phillips Kieran Smith and Chris Thomas who deserved that clean sheet
