A hard fought game today with Tipton coming out on top .
Tipton started well and scored early when Ryan Piggott latched on to a bad back pass and the striker finished really well .
Ams are third in the league for a reason and started to win the midfield area with there movement causing us real problems , it was no surprise that the equaliser came but when it did it came in a way we could of avoided a free shot in our area from a corner after two players going for the same ball .
Chris Thomas then made two good saves to keep it level
We also had chances the lively 18 year old RAMINI Stephens on his debut tormented there back four all game but our best chance of the half fell to Jake Fairhurst who should done better at the far post but he couldn’t keep his shot down .
So equal at the break .
Tipton started the half getting closer to there midfield and stopping them playing and with the introduction of Sam Armstrong it added extra energy when we needed it .
Tipton’s winner came from the spot Jake Fairhurst doing really well in the box only to be fetched over by the last defender .
Ryan Piggott stepped up to fire home .
Connor Garrett was then introduced to give us even more energy which helped us manage the game out really well .
A big mention to our back 4 who defended really well and put bodies on the line when needed .
