First Team Manager – Ian Guy

Ian got into football at a young age; and was at Wolverhampton Wanderers from age sixteen to eighteen. He got involved in youth football twelve years ago, and had great success winning the Stourbridge League on several occasions, along with numerous tournaments and county cups. Just prior to the 2012/13 season, Ian joined Tipton Town, bringing his team from Kidderminster Harriers to play in the Midland Junior Premier League. They went on to win the Midland Junior Premier Cup, beating Bristol City in the final.

For the 2014/15 season they played Saturdays, whilst progressing the core of the team to the Midland Floodlit Youth League.During the 2014/15 season, Ian helped out as joint interim first team manager for a few games whilst the club sorted out a replacement management team, returning to his youth team role for the remainder of the season. For 2015/16 Ian continued as youth team manager, but also made the step to under 21’s manager, playing in the Midland Football League.

First Team Coach – Neil Hesson.

Neil started his career at 16 with a 2 year apprenticeship at West Bromwich Albion. He went on to sign a pro deal with Walsall FC before a brief spell at Kidderminster Harriers. Due to work commitments, Neil had to stop football and move to London where he worked for Coca Cola during Italia 90. When he was able to come back home, Neil played for local side Darlaston Town for 2 years before spending a further 10 years at Oldbury United, during this time having a short spell at Liverpool and playing alongside some famous players such as Nigel Clough and Robbie Fowler. He ended his playing career with Rushall Olympic. Neil has since had a successful coaching career , having spent 9 years being involved with the youth setup at Hill Top Rangers. He later joined Tipton Town Youth team as joint Manager and won the Midland Floodlit League at the first time of asking as well as spending one year with the Under 21’s.

First Team Coach – Adam Colin.

Adam is new to the coaching team at Tipton Town FC, having joined at the start of last season. Having spent a few years out of the game due to work commitments, he has now returned with the hope of improving as a coach and gaining more experience. He has had past experience within coaching at Redditch United FC.

Goalkeeper Coach & Kitman – Chris Essex

Chris previously had a season with us at Tipton, as well as at Tividale FC and Alvechurch FC.
